Peace Takes Work

I’ve been reflecting lately on something simple, yet hard to live:

Peace is not passive. It doesn’t just happen. It takes work. It asks us to face ourselves, to heal what’s been wounded, to let go of the stories that keep us trapped in fear or control.

The teachings I share—the sacred wisdom of the Inca Medicine Wheel—are, at their heart, about making peace within. Peace with the past. Peace with our shadows. Peace with who we truly are.

And yet… it doesn’t stop the world from making war.
It doesn’t stop bombs from falling.
It doesn’t stop leaders from choosing fear over love.

Sometimes that feels heavy. Even hopeless.

But I’ve come to understand something deeper:
When one person chooses peace, truly chooses it, they stop adding to the violence in the field. They stop passing on the trauma. They become a thread of healing in the great tapestry of life.

The Inca teachings remind us that we are all connected. That the inner world and the outer world are not separate. And that our personal healing is planetary work.

So I keep walking the path.
Not because it will save the world overnight—
But because it keeps the sacred alive within it.

💛
I know you’re walking this path too, Let’s keep the fire lit.
